I’ve been driving my 2018 SUV for a few years now, and while it’s been mostly reliable, I’ve started noticing a few issues that need attention: a clunking noise from the front suspension, the AC isn’t as cold as it used to be, and there’s a slight vibration at highway speeds. I work near the industrial area, so Mussafah is super convenient, but I’m a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of workshops there and I have no idea which ones are actually honest and competent. I’m looking for a place that will do a proper diagnostic rather than just guessing and replacing parts. A friend mentioned that some shops offer free pickup and delivery, which would save me a lot of time, and that the better workshops use genuine parts and offer a warranty on their work . I’ve heard good things about this auto repair shop in Mussafah. Has anyone here actually used them and can share their experience? I’d really appreciate a recommendation before I hand over my keys.

Clunk, weak AC and a highway vibration could all be separate jobs, so ask for a written list of findings before any work starts. Front clunk is usually end links or lower arm bushes, and the vibration is often just wheel balance. Any decent shop should show you the worn part on the lift.

I use a small place in Mussafah near the truck yards for my Pajero. They put it on the lift, let me see the play in the arm, and quoted before touching anything. Ask around at your office, someone there probably has a go-to garage already.

Can’t say anything about that shop, never been. I’d be wary of picking any garage off one link without reviews. Check Google reviews for recent complaints, not just the average rating. Free pickup sounds nice, but it’s the written estimate that tells you if they’re honest.

AC not cooling as well as before is usually low refrigerant from a slow leak or a clogged condenser from dust. A proper shop should do a leak test with UV dye or a pressure check, not just top up the gas and send you off. If they only offer a quick recharge, I’d walk.

Which SUV is it, and does the clunk happen over bumps or when turning the wheel at low speed? Also, does the vibration start around 100 km/h or higher? Those details would help you describe the problem so the garage can’t give you a vague answer.
