I’ve been putting off replacing the battery in my old Corolla for a while, but with the summer heat starting to ramp up, I know I need to get it done before I end up stranded somewhere. I’ve been leaning towards the Amaron 55D23L since I’ve heard it’s a reliable option for Japanese cars and handles the high temperatures well with that SilvenX alloy tech they use to prevent corrosion . The thing is, I’m not sure which supplier to trust because I’ve read some reviews mentioning counterfeit units floating around, and I also want to make sure I’m not getting old stock that’s been sitting on a shelf for ages. I’ve seen a few listings online and one of them seems to have some decent info about the specs and compatibility, so if you want to see more information here, that might be a good starting point . Has anyone recently bought one of these from a Dubai supplier and can recommend a specific shop or mobile service that actually checks the manufacturing date before installation? Also, do they usually test the alternator at the same time? I’d rather not fry a new battery straight away if the charging system’s on its way out.
