Ratna Babu Chinnam
Ratna Babu Chinnam is an expert in big data, artificial intelligence (AI) and business analytics and a professor and interim chair in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Wayne State University. Chinnam is also the founding co-director of the Data Science and Business Analytics master’s program and AI, Big Data & Analytics Group and the founding director of Wayne State University’s Global Executive Track doctoral program. Chinnam has authored over 150 technical publications and reports, including journal articles, conference proceedings and research reports. His research interests include business analytics, data science, intelligent manufacturing, supply chain management, sustainability, healthcare and smart engineering systems, and has been funded by the United States National Science Foundation, Department of Transportation, Department of Defense, Department of Education and Department of Veterans Affairs. He carried out collaborative research with such multi- national companies as Ford Motor Company, General Dynamics, Intel and Goodyear, and consulted for such companies as FCA, Sirius XM, Dominos, CapGemini, MRF Tyres, Magna International and DataFactZ.
