Daniel Grosu is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at Wayne State University. Grosu's research focuses on cloud and edge computing; parallel and distributed algorithms; approximation algorithms; scheduling and load balancing; and topics at the center of computer science, game theory and economics. He has published more than 100 peer- reviewed papers in the mentioned areas. He has served on the program and steering committees of several international meetings in parallel and distributed computing such as ICDCS, CLOUD, ICPP and NetEcon. He is a senior member of the ACM, the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society.
