The feeling that someone coming to you rather than you going to them somehow means lower quality is understandable but doesn’t hold up in practice with reputable services. The battery going in is the same product whether it’s fitted in a workshop or a car park. What matters is whether the technician does the diagnostic steps properly which is about the service provider’s standards not the location of the job.
